Hey all, it's my first post! Hello everybody!

I just need a bit of help. I want to start knitting rag dolls, but every pattern i've found are either really really complicated, or really old fashioned (you know the type, those clown type dolls that stand up and only really seen in care homes)

All I want is a pattern for a very simple doll, something I can personalise, because I want to make my friends little versions of themselves. Almost a template, just the shape of the head, body and legs, but I can't find one anywhere. I also can't make the pattern myself, I'm not clever enough yet for that.

In the UK there was a Knit Yourself project that was for little knitted people for a display at the Science Museum - I think? I am sure if you searched Ravelry for Knitted Self pattern you will find the download or links! (and pictures).
