I am working on a sock. Hopefully it will eventually have a mate but right now I'm a little confused by the pattern. I am shaping the instep after having turned the heel and the pattern says with "right side of work facing pick up 18 stitches on the left side of heel" my problem is my working yarn is on the right side. I have no idea why I am backwards. Any suggestions?
