Have just started an SnB group in Lisbon, advertised the event with posters and flyers all over the city and nobody turned up any tips?

Have you tried your local yarn/craft store? Maybe they'd put up a flyer for you..or websites like meetup.com where you can find people in your area with common interests?

CONTACT women's associations, such as newcomers in Lisbon or any group of expat women... then advertise in local paper (foreign newspaper in English to attract corporate wives who have more time and are more open to these things) or in local newspaper or events magazine of the city... good luck, should work
