Have now been here for two weeks. Have been to two yarn shops. Are there any book stores (not Borders, obviously) or cafes in the area that wouldn't mind a group of people meeting there? I prefer to not meet in someone's home so that the group would not be member-dependent. I will look around. Have heard of at least two different possible groups, but not sure if there is anything in Jefferson/Portage Park, or the Six Corners areas. While there are plenty of restaurants, and a local library, finding one that is open till maybe 9-10 with good lighting and chairs, and doesn't mind people just sitting there and such... I think that the main things are location and time. I will try to investigate the various groups that are here already and will report back.

Chicago is the best best place for holiday. I have not visited in this place but listen about this beautiful place. There are another lot of tourist destination in the Europe like Paris, new York etc. You can plan a trip there with family and i hope you can enjoy these destination if you go in these places..

I too agree with you that Chicago is one of the wonderful destination for traveling and there is so much to experience.. The shops are amazing for shopping specially for the knitting lovers.. One should definitely look forward to the place..
