This is a Crochet problem(Hope not just knit) 2 Years ago Karma: 3
I want to crochet some baby booties for my grandbaby. I just don't understand some of what it is in the last part of round 1. After I loosely ch 14 then The pattern starts like this, RND 1(Right side): 7 Dc in the 4th change from the hook(3 skipped chs count as first dc), dc in the next 9 chs, 8 dc in the last ch: (this is where my troubles begin) working in free loops of beginning ch, dc in 9 chs; join with slst to first dc: 34 dc. I understand that this is a knitting site, but since I had bought the stich N bitch book, I thought that I would as you about my problem. I didn't know where else to go to get my answer. I hope you can help and don't mind me asking a crochet question.
Thanks Norma

I hope someone has answered this question but if not your are going around in a circle (not back and forth) so you will be dc in the bottoms of the original chs. Hope this makes sense...
