Hello! Are there any keen knitters in Wellington? I'd love to start a group - it's pretty lonely down here. Please let me know if you're interested.

Hi there. I have been asked to organise & host one at the Southern Cross in the City. I am new to Wellington & keen to meet new people so thought this would be a great opportunity to do so! I have submitted a new group request (with the details) & am waiting for a reply from this website. In the mean time if you are keen & would like more info let me know

Hi Hails
I have a sick child so won't be able to get there tonight but is it every Monday?
I would be so grateful for that as I've been looking everywhere for classes! I'm a complete beginner so would that be ok, if I could get some serious help to start off with...

Hope you check this again
M

Hi
No worries, I know how you feel with sick children. So much seems to be going around at the mo. I would be happy to teach you. And there should be books available to on the night. I will take along my copy of Stitch n Bitch which i find a great resource! We are aiming for every Monday at this stage. I am new to Wellington & looking forward to meeting new people!
Hope to see you next week!
Hails
